For every book sold, one dollar is donated to a fund for the Bayaka in the village of Moale, Central African Republic. Additional donations may be made by writing a check to “Jonathan’s Jungle” and designating it for the Bayaka Fund.
The author has established this fund to assist in meeting various physical and medical needs of the Bayaka people. The Bayaka people lack clothing, sanitation, education and proper medical care.
The first endeavor is to supply the Bayaka with a sufficient amount of drugs to
treat malaria (Chloroquine) as well as enough eyedrops to fight conjunctivitis,
a leading cause of blindness among the people of the forest.
Periodic updates of the endeavors of this fund will be available on this site as they occur.
